Apple May Be Tuning In on a Big Opportunity

Rumor has it that Apple’s developing an FM radio app for iPhones and iPod touches, essentially “waking up” a dormant bit of hardware that’s already built into some of the devices. Tying this feature to iTunes could give users the ability to buy songs they hear on the radio in the heat of the moment, and that could mean a nice boost for iTunes sales.
